THE SILENT THREAT

You Might Have a Problem You Don't Know About Yet.

Hydronic heating systems—like in-floor heating and boilers—are built to last. But they aren't built to run forever without attention.

Most homeowners in the Golden Horseshoe have a system that was installed when their home was built, and they've never had it touched since.

Not because they're negligent. Because nobody told them they should.

Your home has in-floor heating, radiators, or a boiler—but you've never had a specialist look at it

You're not sure if every floor zone is actually heating evenly

You hear your boiler cycling more than it used to

Your system was installed by the builder—you don't know if it was done to spec

You assumed it was fine because nothing has broken yet

Here's What Happens When It Goes Unchecked.

THE INTERCONNECTED NETWORK

A hydronic system isn't just a boiler. It's a precise network of interconnected components — each one doing a specific job:

  • Boiler: The heat source — burns gas to heat water
  • Pumps: Circulate heated water through the system
  • Manifolds: Distribute water to individual floor zones
  • Controls & Thermostats: Regulate temperature zone by zone
  • In-floor heating loops: Carry hot water through your floors
  • Venting: Safely remove combustion gases

THE SILENT FAIL

When one component starts to fail, the others compensate — which means the system keeps running, but it's working harder than it should. By the time you notice something's wrong, the damage is done.

The warning signs most homeowners miss:

  • One room that never quite reaches the right temperature
  • A pump that runs louder than it used to
  • A boiler that keeps cycling on and off in short bursts
  • Higher gas bills with no obvious explanation
  • A zone that stopped responding to the thermostat

Left unchecked, these become emergency repairs. And emergency repairs don't happen in July — they happen at 11pm on the coldest night of the year.

Before You Decide

Got a specific question about your system, our service area, or what's included? We're always here to help you make the right choice for your home.

What exactly is a hydronic system?

A hydronic system uses water to distribute heat throughout your home. It includes your boiler (or heat source), circulation pumps, manifolds, and your in-floor floor heating loops, radiators, or snowmelt systems. Any heating system that uses water — that's hydronic.

My system seems to be working fine. Do I still need an inspection?

That's exactly when you want one done — before a problem develops. Many hydronic issues are silent for months before causing a failure. An inspection gives you a baseline and peace of mind.

What if you find something wrong?

We'll quote any needed repairs on the spot during the service. You decide whether to proceed — there's never any pressure. The $500 service fee is separate from any repair work.

How long does it take?

Approximately 60 minutes for most homes. Larger or more complex systems may take slightly longer.

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Mississauga, and surrounding Golden Horseshoe communities. Not sure if we cover your area? Send us a message.

Is the $500 fee refundable?

The service fee covers the visit, inspection, thermal imaging, and written report — regardless of findings. It is non-refundable but represents the full cost of our time and expertise for that visit.

Can you service heat pumps?

Heat pump servicing is outside our core specialization, but we can connect you with a trusted specialist if needed.
